The Cappalappa Family Resource Center has proudly provided services in the Moapa Valley area since 1999. The center is considered the core “One Stop Shop” of family services offered in Moapa Valley. Our goal is to improve the quality of life of our clients through public education and collaborative efforts with other community oriented service agencies.

Are you wondering what you can donate? Cappalappa Family Resource Center will take all items that are in good condition however we do not take sofas, beds, or large appliances. Should you have a sofa, bed, or large appliance we can find a home for it it as long as we have a request or need for those items.
Do you have non-expired food that you would like to donate? Cappalappa Family Resource Center takes that too for our community food bank.
A donation receipt can only be given if you have donated your items during business hours Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Donations are tax deductable to the extent allowed by law.
Mission Statement
The CFRC is a human
service agency, born of a desire to bring assistance
without discrimination to families in need throughout
the Moapa Valley community and surrounding areas.
CFRC purpose:
Protect life and health and to ensure respect for the
human being. We promote mutual understand,
friendship, and cooperation amongst all people. We
develop, evaluate, and disseminate programs that foster
ethical, social, and intellectual development while
nurturing capacity to think skillfully and
critically. We strive to deepen the communities’
commitment to pro social values such as kindness,
helpfulness, personal responsibility, and respect of
others.
CFRC vision:
Function as and be perceived as a unique, dynamic,
financially healthy, community resource.
Contributing to and reflecting the needs of the
community in a responsible manner through service,
educational, recreational, and community-wide programs.
Be an active agency that, in cooperation with other
service organizations, enhances and expands services and
programs available to the entire community. Be a place
of refuge for all who need it; nurturing and educating
youth through organized programs and activities; and
reaching all families, regardless of race, nationality,
creed, or religious preference.
